piper loves making things and halloween and her baby

piper is really into "making" things. she likes to cook, bake, color, paint, and apparently sew. the other day i found this halloween fabric in a tub of old fabrics and whipped up a couple pillows for piper and her baby (i didn't check to see if i had any stuffing first...which i didn't...so the big one is stuffed with fleece i found in the bucket and the small one has like 3 layers of batting, but the doll doesn't really care) i'm not very good at sewing, but i can sew two rectangles into a pillow. and piper was amused with helping me make them and then carrying them around and laying on them to display their functionality for anyone who would look.

here is piper giving her baby a drink of her water. she loves this baby so much! she carries her around, rocks her, pats her on the back, apologizes when she accidentally drops her on her head, feeds her, shares her covers with her at night and gives her lots of kisses (especially when she drops her face first on the wood floor...because kisses cure everything, even head injuries apparently)
