piper's pumpkins

piper has been realllllly into halloween this year. she likes to drive around and look at halloween decorations on people's houses and she loves to look at halloween stuff in stores. she is really into pumpkins (including this weird 45-minute movie "Spookley the Square Pumpkin" that we recorded off disney channel and have since watched like 15 times) so she was pretty excited to carve pumpkins which we did two days in a row, once with grammy and pappy and then once at home with grandma and grandpa. here's piper proudly sitting by her pumpkins on the porch. she likes to light them and then stand in the yard and look at them at night.

we made a kitty pumpkin and a regular old-school jack-o-lantern and they both turned out pretty cute i think! i'm pretty sure piper is not going to be so happy when they have to go to pumpkin heaven though... but think how excited she'll be when christmas lights go up! she's going to freak out!!
