making cookies

piper and i made cookies the other day because sugar cookies are delicious and because piper LOVES making things and sugar cookies have lots of "making" steps: making dough, cutting out shapes, baking, frosting. we made halloween shapes because in case you didn't know this by now, piper is really into halloween. here she is frosting a ghost. then it turned out she was really just into licking the frosting off the cookie and leaving a slimy gross cookie mess on the table when she was done. oh well.
