grad.

ok, so maybe i am a little stressed out. i took the gre last week and didn't do as well as i wanted to. actually, i did great on the math section, and pretty terrible on the verbal. so, all i have to do is learn about 500 vocab words and figure out what an antonym is and i'll be good to go. then i'll take it again toward the end of october so that my scores get sent out in time. the fear of not getting into grad school next fall definitely outweighs settling on my current score. i mean, i'll already be 2 years older than everyone else going to grad school, i don't really want to push it back to 3. amanda and i both really want to go to UNC, so i don't want to be personally responsible for not allowing us to get where we want to be. so the plan is study a lot more this time. amanda has already taken it upon herself to teach me every word ever created, and being a math major, will hopefully teach me how to be better at math. i'm shooting for a 1200, but need atleast an 1100. i only managed a 1030 the first time around. so yeah, another month full of studying/preparing for a standardized test. maybe i'll just take a break from school for the next month.
