One of the things i was most excited for when having a second kid was seeing the interactions between Piper and kid 2 (henceforth known as Hudson). and i tell you what, i have not been disappointed! These kids LOVE each other, and even when they're irritated with one another (like when hudson knocks over piper's tower or when piper won't stop aggressively hugging Hudson), the interactions are still fun to watch.
Piper loves to try to make hudson laugh. she loves to go into his room to "get" him when he wakes up from a nap. she likes to say "hi buddy boy" REPEATEDLY in an increasingly high-pitched voice when she sees him. usually this ends with one of us saying "ok i think he heard you" when the pitch or volume get too high for us to handle anymore. piper is actually pretty good at sharing her toys with hudson as long as it isn't the toy she's playing with at the moment, which seems fair. and she's realllllly good at sharing hudson's toys...and by this i obviously mean taking them. her favorite thing to do, though, is probably to give him "goodnight kisses" WHILE he's sleeping. this is a problem. because hudson is NOT a sound sleeper.
Nothing cracks hudson up more than piper dancing around and being silly. he is a pretty serious little boy, but his sister can really make him laugh! he loves to crawl on piper and pull her hair. he loves to "kiss" her...by which i obviously mean drool all over her. and sometimes barf. hudson also loves to watch whatever piper is watching...but he also likes to climb the tv stand to get closer, so that's a problem.
