Movies!

Last summer we took piper to see Cars 2. it was not the most successful thing we ever tried...she was too young to sit still through more than the previews and brett ended up chasing her around most of the time (luckily our tickets were free, so it was just a fun little experiment...and i still got to see most of the movie).

This year we decided to try again! Piper, my mom, and I went to see Madagascar 3, and it was a total hit! piper sat still, ate her popcorn, paid attention, and we all had a great time! if only she would have tried the booster seat they offered her! the had to kneel or crane her neck to see over the table the whole time (only downside to The Alamo i guess). but mom and i ate a delicious lunch and the movie was cute, so it was a total success! 

can't wait to take her to see Brave, which she keeps asking me to record on the TV every time she sees a preview for it (i don't know what this little girl would do without her dvr). we might try out the Drive-in movies for that one!
