a couple projects

i've been working on tons of projects this summer, mostly baby-related or piper-related with a few thrown in for myself :) here are some pictures i had on my phone. i just want to document all my projects so i can remember them later!

painted onesies. i used martha stewart craft paint. it's so cool, you can use it on any surface (fabric, wood, glass, etc...) and it is washing machine and dishwasher safe and allegedly can be used for outdoor stuff too! i've yet to test all of its capabilities, but the color choices are cute and it makes a pretty cute onesie!

an apron i made for piper. i saw an apron i liked on the anthropologie website, but they're not exactly known for their affordability. and arguably they're more well-know these days for all the anthropologie knock-off tutorials out there! but this didn't even require a tutorial. i just made it up. and it turned out pretty cute! i used scrap fabric that i had left-over from the handkerchiefs i made for brett for father's day.

another painted onesie. i used a stencil i made on the cricut for the guitar and mixed some of my martha stewart paints to get a nice brown. brett likes it.

i have LOTS more projects i want to document, so hopefully i'll remember to at least snap a few pics of them soon!
it's really great that i'm becoming proficient at sewing just as nearly everyone i know (including myself) is having babies!
