Piper loves to pull herself up to stand by things and crawl all over the place and attempt to walk along things. This has resulted in many a head wound in recent weeks. This particular wound was acquired through some not-so-skillful crawling over one of brett's shoes. she went face-first into a book/the carpet (we can't be entirely sure which gave her the injury because it all happened so fast) and got something like a rug burn by her eye (leads me to believe the carpet was the culprit). goodness gracious, not the eye! i have a terrible fear of her injuring her eyes. eyes just seem so prone to permanent damage!
well, the scrape is healing nicely and it no longer looks like we punched her in the eye with brass knuckles.
