Breakfast party

Saturday morning we met up with Brett's family for breakfast. It was delicious. And it was fun, even though the drive home was NOT (thanks to the weather). But we made it home safe and sound...and with a bunch of new-to-piper toys!

Piper, all bundled up and ready to be loaded into the car. she doesn't look too happy about it. it could be that she just woke up. and it could be that she had a feeling we'd be in the car for an hour. there would be no way of knowing.

Shortly after this photo was taken, Kaden got up and walked away, telling us "i think i'm going to go play with something else." i guess this toy isn't as much fun when you're 5.
