milestone: fever

what a week. tuesday night piper started feeling warm and getting a little fussy. then wednesday she ran a fever all day and was pretty much only interested in lying around and being held. and although i felt terrible for her all day, i gotta say, it was a little bit enjoyable to just hold her and have her sit still. she won't normally just SIT with you. she wants to squirm and grab at everything and type/drool on the computer or eat the remote or the cell phone...she's really into electronics i guess. she's too active to be happy sitting still usually. so i knew she really felt bad.
thankfully, yesterday she was much LESS warm and MORE active. she played off and on (she still took lots of long naps). but at least it made me a little less paranoid.
this was piper's first illness and man was i worried.
while it was nice holding and snuggling my baby for a few days, my left arm needs a break, so i'm glad she is feeling better.

in other news, brett is doing AWESOME in school. he has had two tests so far and has done great on both of them.
katie is coming home tonight so piper's really excited about that.

i understandably have not taken many pictures this week...due to piper being sicky. but i did take a couple yesterday while she was playing. i'll post them when i find the camera cord (the living room is a mess due to the fact that i didn't really do anything but hold/play with piper for 2 days).
i guess since she's feeling better and can entertain herself a little, i should clean up.
