birthweek/half-birthweek

On thursday, piper will be 6 months old! for her six month birthday present, my parents got her this sweeeeet rocking horse. i need to take a video of piper riding it so you can see how cool it is.
on saturday, i will be 22.
Two days ago (and also yesterday) i fed piper a little sweet potatoes. she seemed to like them (as witnessed by the photo below). so, to combat the feelings of non-productivity that being the stay-at-home mom of a baby can produce, i started making a list of things i would like to get done during the day (thank you shauna). it has made me feel much better to be able to count the things i get done, even if they're stupid little things.
We never managed to get piper any byu gear while we were in utah, but we're definitely teaching her to be a fan of the Hokies! we all pull out our VT jerseys for game days (piper's is hilarious...it's a 2T, so it's a little big. she wears it with black leggings and it is ADORABLE)

in other news, piper still refuses to roll over. it is BEYOND frustrating to me because i KNOW she could do it (at least the back to front roll...she's probably not even close on the front to back roll because she hates tummy time so much). whatever.
