Trip

i know we've really been slacking on our posting. I'm going to try to make up for it all in one post. we'll see how this goes:
We just got back from two weeks back east. We, of course, didn't take enough pictures, but i'll try to recap the trip from the ones we DID manage to take.
We took a family photo, babysitters club style, while brett and i were home and right before katie left for school. We also had a huge party the night before we took Katie to school, pretty much every person we know back home was there. it was kind of overwhelming, but WAY fun and good to see everyone we might not get to see otherwise. We went to an Orioles/Red Sox game in Baltimore, probably one of Brett's favorite parts of the trip. Also, note that i chopped off all my hair.

We went to North Carolina to visit UNC and my cousins, as seen above. We spent quite a bit of the trip visiting grad schools. We saw UNC, Pitt, VCU, and Shenandoah (which wasn't so hard, since it's in winchester)

We spent some quality time with Brett's Sister and her family. Kaden is my bff. We miss Kaden and Cole sooooo much!

Cole is so much bigger and funnier than we remembered him! A lot changes from the time they're a month old, which was the last time we saw him!

That's a pretty good recap of the trip, i'd say. I left out the bad parts, like the las vegas nightmare (flight canceled, creepy cab driver, sketchy hotel room courtesy of Jet Blue, booking a much more expensive flight, FINALLY getting home almost a day later than anticipated) or the miserable days we spent on the couch, sick with some sort of cold caught from Kaden.
But all in all, a great trip. we miss our families so much and can't wait to move back east as soon as we get the chance!
