This summer has gotten off to a pretty hot start. thank goodness for our little hippo pool (which i love), the slip-n-slide (which i personally hate setting up), and the sprinkler (which i also dislike because it is this guy with wiggly arms and they are ALWAYS getting tangled and then shooting in only one direction...whatever, it's not SO bad i guess)

| i love having this little pool on the deck! i can even sit inside at the computer while piper plays, since the computer desk is right by the deck door and i can see the pool! it is awesome! it gives piper the freedom to play outside and it gives me the freedom to not have to hang out in the heat! |
we also got a pretty awesome new sand/water table recently, but i don't have the pics of that uploaded yet (and i figured Grammy would rather i just blog and stop procrastinating until i have all the pictures on the computer!)
