Most important thing i have neglected to blog about: Hudson! He's here and he's awesome!
Hudson Emory Clingerman

| family photo! |
| getting ready to go home. 25 hours old. when i see this picture now, it blows my mind how tiny he was! |
my actual labor was only like 4 hours, pushing was quick and easy, and voila, BABY!
unlike when i had piper, we were pretty anxious to get the heck out of that hospital asap (with piper, i was pretty much content to just stay as long as they'd let me). there were so many babies born the week hudson was born that almost all the rooms were full, the nurses were super busy running around to tend to everyone, and it was just crazy. i was supposed to be induced on wednesday, then i got bumped to thursday, then bumped to friday because they were so booked with babies! let me tell you, i was NOT a pleasant person to be around that week before he was born. getting your induction bumped is pretty much the end of the world when you're 40 weeks pregnant. it felt especially awful because piper was born at 39 weeks, so i already FELT a week overdue. and i was terrified hudson was going to be gigantic (piper was 8 pounds 4 ounces at 39 weeks).
but anyway, it all worked out, he DID come out eventually, and he was NOT gigantic at all. he was really quite tiny! maybe it was all the pregnant running i did this time around :)
Now Hudson is 2 months old, he is a GREAT baby, he sleeps and eats great, and he occasionally gives out a smile or two! Piper LOVES him (a little too much sometimes), and everyone loves to snuggle him. he's filled out a lot and has some pretty decent chubs to call his own now, which is what i like to see!
we all love him TONS and are soooo glad he came to join our family!
