The 4th of july was pretty sweet, partly because brett didn't have to go to work! yay! unfortunately (for me) he DID go golfing ALL morning, but then i got to go to leisurely walk around target for a little bit BY MYSELF. Piper was pretty excited for fireworks...especially for "fire sticks" (aka sparklers) although when she actually had the opportunity to hold a sparkler, she was terrified and waited until it burned out before she'd hold it. she still talked about it later like it was SO fun though.

| we left the fireworks a little early because the storm was getting a little bit TOO windy for piper's taste...and i didn't really want to be driving home in a terrible storm with all the crazies out for the fireworks show. we have been having some CRAZY storms lately, so i didn't really want to take my chances... |
