playground words

due to an unfortunate combination of laziness and technical difficulties, today you will be seeing two posts about the same thing, one with words and one with pictures.
i did the collages in Smilebox because i find uploading large numbers of pictures from iphoto to blogger to be tedious and until i find a more efficient way, i refuse to upload more than a couple pictures the regular way.
anyway, we have been taking piper to playgrounds and she has been LOVING it! she usually just picks some random unsuspecting kid and follows them around the whole time. i think it is pretty funny but some kids, especially really little ones, like kids close in age to piper get kind of freaked out sometimes.
piper loves to climb the stairs and go down the slides and she's getting pretty good at doing it all by herself. she's come a long way since the beginning of the summer when she would barely leave my side! she does manage to get one crying session in each time we go due to some injury, but other than that, she's pretty into the playground. The pictures in the other post were all taken at the playground closes to our house, at the elementary school in the neighborhood. at least while school's out, piper can play there as often as she wants (or in other words, as often as i feel like walking over there, which is not as often as you might think because it has been SO hot out lately).
