i love this baby!

I love this baby so much! Piper is so fun and she makes every day interesting! i love playing with her and hugging her and kissing her about a billion times per day! her latest and greatest trick is giving hugs. like real hugs. she'll run up and hug your legs. in fact, she will sometimes even run up and hug complete strangers (awesome.) in stores. she'll also pat you on the back if you pick her up to give her a real hug. probably because we always pat her on the back. she doesn't like to give kisses very much, but when she does it is pretty hilarious.
in other news, she hasn't been eating very well lately. i think maybe she's just too busy to eat. the other day she would only eat graham crackers all morning. some days she even turns down yogurt! thats how you know she really is NOT interested in eating. i guess i figure she'll eat when she's hungry. she seems to have plenty of energy for running around and jabbering away to herself.
she shakes her head "no" if she doesn't want something and she'll answer questions by shaking her head most of the time. she doesn't really do "yes" but usually if her answer is yes, she just DOES whatever the thing is (like taking a bite, giving a hug, bringing me a book...). it is really cool that she is understanding more. like if you ask her to bring you a book she will go find a book. if you ask her if she wants a bite, she'll run from wherever she is in the house to get a bite (if she knows it is something delicious). if you ask her for a hug, she'll run over to give you one.
she's just growing a learning so much! and while we don't want her to grow any faster, we are LOVING all the fun things she's learning to do!
