i know, i know, i need to blog...

ok so i know i need to blog but there is a serious shortage of camera cords...no, that's not true. there is a serious shortage of the correct camera cord. so until i find it (which better be soon! because piper's birthday is tomorrow and i will want to post pictures of it), i'll just have to write about other things i guess.
so i have relatively recently (as in the last couple months) gotten into coupons and drug store sales and the like. and i really should blog about it because everyone should be getting these deals.
around the same time i started this new hobby, i also started using this website called swagbucks. it is basically just a search engine, but every so often (like once or twice a day?) when you search for something, you earn swagbucks, which can then be traded in on rewards. i am the mother of all skeptics, so i was fully expecting this to be a scam, but i've been using swagbucks for probably the last month. i haven't gotten any junk email from them as far as i can tell and i just cashed in some swagbucks today for a $5 amazon.com giftcard! i had heard of swagbucks before but had never used it until recently. so who knows...maybe i'm the last one to jump on the swagbucks train.
anyway, if you aren't already using swagbucks, you should give it a try.

and another little thing i have been doing is making these free photo books on this website called Hotprints. you just upload your photos and arrange them into a book. then they mail it to you, free, with free shipping, and you don't even have to enter a credit card number or anything. you can get one per month and my second one just came. it is of our trip to dc, and it is super cute! the books are more like magazines so i can't really let piper look at them by herself yet or she would just rip them up (like the ripped the cover of the first one...) but for free, they're great! i'd take a picture of it...but i wouldn't be able to upload it...lame.
anyway, it's just amazing how much free/really cheap stuff is out there, just waiting for you to snatch it up!

ok i'm going to rip this house apart (probably should just clean instead since we're having tons of family over this weekend) and find that camera cord now.
