snowpocalypse

i would be remiss if i didn't blog about this weekend's outrageous snow storm. i lived in utah for 2 winters and we NEVER had snow like this. also, i thought when we left utah, we were done with snow. but this winter in VA has been more snowy than i hoped for.
anyway, we were pretty well-prepared for being stuck in the house for 3 straight days, so it has actually been fairly relaxing and enjoyable.
we haven't measured, but we think there are at least 30 inches of snow in our yard. it took a lot of work (and time..and muscles) to shovel the driveway (and we had parked 3 cars in it so we would have less to shovel).
Dad, Mom, Brett, Me, Piper, George, and Katelyn hung out doing all sorts of fun things which i will now document:

so we didn't have church today, nobody has school tomorrow (and mom/george already don't have to go tuesday either). and it is supposed to snow again on tuesday i think. i hope to get out of this house tomorrow at least for a little bit.
