screaming infidelities

so, thursday night i took amanda to see dashboard confessional for the very first time. what do i get for doing this? amanda picks up a new boyf, chris carrabba. 

for those of you who don't know who chris is, he's the singer behind dashboard confessional, and we met him!  we drove up to west valley to catch the rockband live tour. bands playing were the cab, plain white t's, dashboard confessional, and panic @ the disco. the cab opened up, they were ok and out of the way quickly. next came plain white t's. now, the first time we saw them was in philly and unfortunately, every 4th grader in a hundred mile radius was there. luckily it was free. this time was much better, they put on a good show and the lack of children made it that much better. dashboard put on the best show of the night, but i am biased, amanda agrees. they played mostly new stuff and it was great. i still wish they would play more old stuff. i miss the days of the 930 club, but that was also 6 years ago. the show finished up with panic, which was pretty disappointing. we were really looking forward to seeing them but they didn't put on a very good show, but it was actually very good for us. due to our lack of interest, we moved to the back of the crowd and stood in front of the sound equipment. as we were standing there, i saw chris come into the sound area, he came up to the gate and i took amanda's picture with him. so, a pretty awesome ending to a pretty excellent evening. 

note: amanda's face is not sunburnt in the picture, my shadow is covering up half her face, making it appear sunburnt.
