What a great week! my mom was here to visit and it was sooooooo fun! we ate delicious food and went to lots of craft stores and bought name-brand cereal.
Now there are only two more weeks until we fly home for vacation, two weeks left in summer term! We're so ready for a break...going to school non-stop for a year is rough. I'm sure our 2 weeks at home is just going to fly by! There are so many people to see and things to get done while we're there. Lots of grad schools to visit. And Katie and Jeremy are getting ready to head to college, around the same time we come home. we'll at least get to see them for a couple days before they leave. Luckily VCU is one of the grad schools brett's interested in, so we'll kill two birds with one stone if we go with my parents to drop katie off.
There's nothing too interesting going on here now that my mom left. i'm just trying to catch back up with all the school-work i procrastinated while she was here and get used to working at gap again since i had a week off.
Breaking Dawn comes out tonight, so i might try to talk brett into going to a bookstore party with me later...we'll see how tired i am after 6 (or possibly 8) hours on my feet running around at babygap.
also, terrible news. Manny is now a dodger.

oh i'm totally hearing ya aloud and clear, i reserved my copy last week and am headed out to Borders tonight for the big TWI-HARD party. brent is just thrilled to see me so geeked up over something. you know, since i'm so cool and all;) glad to see you guys are bloggin' it's fun to check in. take care. shauna
